"Výtvarné umění je vyjádření vlastních myšlének individua pomocí štětce a barvy, tužky, péra atd. Výtvarné řemeslo je nápodobení přírody štětcem, perem, dlátem atd. Pouhé nápodobení přírody Krajinářství jest pouze povětšině vědou řemeslnou neboť jen otrocké nápodobení přírody (škrtnuto) jest věcí chemie. Dávám tudíž Máchovi za pravdu jeho výroku "Vítězství ducha nad přírodou" - totiž tvoření bez ohledu na přírodu čistě ideálné povznešení duše lidské. Kreslím to, co nikdo neumí (škrtnuto). Jen tím se liší poesie malířství od poesie literární že malířství má jinou a to těžší formu neboť snáze (škrtnuto) každý spíše něco napíše než nakreslí. Hieroglifi jsou starší něž písmo. (Fine art is an expression of human´s own thoughts by a brush and color, pencil, pen etc. Art craft is imitation of nature by a brush, pen, gad etc. Pure imitation of the nature Landscaping is only in most of the time science of the craft because only slavelike imitating of nature (canceled)is a matter of chemistry. Because of this I agree with Mácha when he speaks about "Gaining Victory of a spirit over the nature" - because creating without regard to nature clearly ideal elevation. I draw what nobody else is able (canceled). The only difference between the poetry of the painting and the poetry of the literature is the fact, that the painting has a different form, more difficult because it´s easier (canceled) for someone to write something than to draw something.
