The volume contains many printed patriotic songs. Just a few of them has a date of publishing, four of them were published in 1848, one in 1842. In six of them there is a place of publishing indicated Prague (Praha). Havlíček Borovský was interested in a slavic song according also to the list of his books. The list contains more than thirty volumes of songs collected by K.J.Erben, J. Kollár, F.L.Čelakovský etc. Most of the songs collected in this volume relate to the political situation in Austria-Hungary, to patriotism and the revolutionary year 1848. It´s possible to assume that the owner of this volume was the great patriot K. Havlíček Borovský.
